My tumblr has been pretty quiet recently, but I have been working harder than I think I ever have, so I thought i’d throw together a but of a ‘week in review’ thing, I’m excited to post the full versions of each of these, just waiting for a go ahead email.

Check out this interview I did, for a cool online magazine thingy called Twisted Plastic! I’m on pages 28 to 31.
You should check out the rest of the magazine too. It’s only the first issue, but it has interviews with cool famous people like God Machine. God Machine’s famous right? I only know of him coz my mate Danners has a tattoo of his shit, so I assume he’s famous. It’d make sense.

Top secret project is out in the open!
after nearly 3 months of solid work on top of my personal freelance work and a full time job I’ve managed to write a magazine hoping to promote younger creatives and spread the word of some of my favorite artists, as well as gaining some insight into how they do what they do.
It been very stressful but ultimately worth it, I’ve gained contacts and some good friends through this and learned alot myself!
The reason I felt the need to create something like this is because at the end of a shitty 2012, I lost my home and job and very nearly gave up on my artwork too, but a couple of magazine promoted my artwork and spread the work, and that felt incredible, the fact that someone found my work and liked it enough to show it in their magazines honestly made me want to work even harder. That’s what I did, and now I have a new home and job as well as more and more freelance work, all from the buzz and motivation of that, I wanted to create another place to give that to other people and this is the result.
I hope it means as much to other artists reading it as it did to me to create it.

As i mentioned before I can’t show too much of these, and its bloody killing me, but this recurring preview is only about a quarter of the full design and even then there are 3 other designs in a similar vein to this in this set.
should be some interesting final pieces by next week along with my personal secret project and then ive got some really interesting jobs lined up in may too. No rest for the wicked!
